Mobius Presents: 1-Minute Solos

$15 admission (notaflof) / 8pm start / 7:30 doors / seated & standing “1-Minute Movement Solos,” is an evening of solo movement performances at The Lilypad in Inman Square, Cambridge. Artists are encouraged to interpret movement in its broadest sense under a strict 1-minute performance length. The 2026 edition is curated by Jimena Bermejo with Heather Kapplow. This year, 1 Minute Solos features a whopping 18 artists! Performance details are below: September 10th, 2025 - Dear Diary Based on the major words and themes written in my diary on September 10th, 2025. Amanda Francis is a dancer and choreographer, a writer and storyteller. Chè thái is a sweet and colorful Vietnamese dessert made with tropical fruits, jellies, and coconut milk. Here, the act of serving dessert becomes a medium of hospitality and cultural memory. An Hà is an interdisciplinary artist, his work explores the poetic language within the everyday objects and gestures. A portrayal of the unseen currents that draw us away from our true nature. Often the mental cages we build for ourselves and noise of the world mask the edges of who we are. Aparna Sud is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, dance, and poetry, centering on the complexity and beauty of the human condition. A Fairytale Born in the Light of the Moon Grendelin Drag presents the Witch of the Woods and his encounter with a Swan in the Forest. Beckett Brueggemann is a fibers and performance artist using drag and folklore to create queer explorations and healing escapisms. Hail Mary is a short improvisational solo set to Mary Oliver's poem "Wild Geese." Betsy Miller is a dance artist, educator, facilitator, and seltzer enthusiast based in Salem, Massachusetts.
